Villa Maria Installation

Work days planned for Villa Maria
The two weekends following Feb.10th we will need lots of helping hands preparing Villa Maria installation.  If you’ve been in a fog and haven’t heard we are preparing our 4th course in Stevens Creek Canyon ParkVilla Maria group picnic area.

Feb 17 & Feb 24
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m

Freddie will be directing work crews from the upper parking lot at Villa Maria Group Picnic area.  Parking permit, lunch and beverages will be provided to workers.  Come lend a hand for the day or a couple hours! Bring friends, gloves and hand tools if you have them. We are excited about adding another course to offer disc golfers.

Save the Date for the BioBlitz
Disc golfers and families this will be a great day to help our friends at Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful.org and learn so much more of the Bio Diversity along Coyote Creek and in Kelley Park.

 BioBlitz at Kelley Park on March 3rd from 9 AM – 11 AM.

Meet at 8AM in the K4 parking lot and move into the disc golf area and park for two hours of investigating and identifying as many species as we can in that short time. We’ll be done by noon.

The Mesmerize

Cal Coast Series PDGA “B” Tier Tourney: The Mesmerize at Kelley Park on April 14-15 in San Jose, might fill fast. Registration on discgolfscene.com begins on February 6, at 6pm. Contact (Eric Stachnick) estachnick@yahoo.com to inquire about hole sponsorship opportunities, which can guarantee a spot before the 6th. The tourney (the whole series) is sponsored by Foxtower discs, and DGA. The players pack will feature Artwork by Jef Wind! Mark you calendars.

Silicon Valley Winter Singles Shootout

Singles League is back for a six week series!  The first three weeks hosted by Mindy Ma and the second three weeks by Kelley Snyder and Flynn O’Hare!  The scores from these events will be utilized for future Team San Jose events, hosted by Eric Stachnick.  This is also a PDGA Sanctioned League Event and your scores will gain you individual ratings.  Hope to see you there!

Winter Work Days

Work days are back!
This Saturday December 30 is the last work day of the year! If you haven’t made it out to a work day this year here’s your last chance. Come lend a hand – La Raza & Hellyer courses will be the focus. December 30, meet at Hellyer course 9:00 am – 1:00ish
The club will provide lunch and drinks! Winter Work Day Schedule Work days will continue through the winter and are scheduled for the 3rd and 4th Saturdays of each month.

Kelley Park DGC – 3rd Saturday of each month
Hellyer/La Raza – last Saturday of each month

Bring gloves, a friend and water. The club will provide lunch and beverages!

Free parking passes provided for all workers at Kelley Park work days.
