What: SVDGC Sunday Series (Singles)
When: Every Sunday, 9:00 am (Starting 01/10/2010 at Hellyer) Check-in will start as early as 8:15am
Where: Hellyer DCG & La Raza (layout and course change weekly, schedule below)
Duration: 10 weeks. 01/10 – 03/21. We will skip Superbowl Sunday, and have awards on Sunday March 21st following play.
Layout: 3 rounds of 9 holes.
Divisions: Open, Am 1 (Advanced), AM 2 (Intermediate), Womens.
Fee:
$15 Open Divisions ($11 to weekly payout, $2 to SVDGC, and $2 series cash)
$10 All AM, and Womens ($6 to weekly payout, $2 to SVDGC, and $2 series awards)
Payout: Weekly cash payout for ALL divisions plus series winners. There will be 1 position paid for every card in each division. Score cards will MAX at 5 players & MIN at 3 players.
Examples:
* 20 Open players = $220 cash and 5 score cards of 4 players, cashing 5 positions. (Could also be 4 cards of 5 players, however, we will cash as many players as possible and avoid 5 on a card if possible.)
* 5 Open players = $55 cash and 5 players on 1 score card, cashing 1 position.
* 20 Am players = $120 cash and 5 score cards of 4 players, cashing 5 positions. (Could also be 4 cards of 5 players, however, will cash as many players as possible and avoid 5 on a card if possible.)
* 5 Am players = $30 cash and 5 players on 1 score card, cashing 1 position.
Series Points: Players will receive points weekly based on the following:
* 1 point for showing up
* 1 point for every player you beat in your Division
Points Winners: The points leaders in each division will receive prizes on week 10, March 21th after the rounds have completed.
Open Division:
* 1st place: 50% of all series cash collected and 1 trophy
* 2nd place: 30% of all series cash collected and 1 trophy
* 3rd place: 20% of all series cash collected and 1 trophy
All AM and Women’s Divisions:
* 1st place: 1 Trophy, 1 new disc, 1 club shirt and 1 club mini marker
* 2nd place: 1 Trophy, 1 new disc, 1 club shirt and a club mini marker
* 3rd place: 1 Trophy, 1 club shirt and a club mini.
(Moving Solutions, Inc will be sponsoring this series and supplying the trophies.)

2010 SVDGC Bag Tag Members are encouraged to play their tags during this event.
Tags will be collected by the TD and reissued after the round amongst all players.
All scores, spreadsheets and tags info will be posted on the clubs forums ( www.svdgc.org/forums ) and updated every Sunday night following our rounds.
